Una revisión de los impactos del ecoturismo a través de las publicaciones en una revista especializada

El ecoturismo se considera una forma sustentable del turismo que promete reducir los impactos negativos. El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar las publicaciones sobre los impactos del ecoturismo a través de una revisión sistemática (protocolo PRISMA). Se encontró que la mayoría aborda impactos ambientales y se enfocan en especies carismáticas, en tanto los sociales y económicos están poco representados. Existe poca evidencia publicada sobre los impactos positivos directos del ecoturismo, principalmente porque son difíciles de evaluar y pueden manifestarse a largo plazo.
