Open access policy

Dimensiones Turísticas (e-ISSN 2954-2069), https://dimensionesturisticas.mx/, is an open access publication, which means that all content is freely available and free of charge for users to use.  Users may read, download (no registration required), distribute, print, or link to the full texts of issues and articles, without permission from the publishers or authors. That is, the definition of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) applies. There is also no article processing charge (APC), which is applicable to the entire editorial process. Tourist Dimensions is published under the Creative Commons Attribution/Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International license (CCBY-NC-ND 4.0) from 2017 to 2022, and Attribution/Recognition-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CCBY-NC-SA 4.0) from 2023 up to date. All original and unpublished papers received are subject to a Double Blind Review process.

 

Publication frequency

Dimensiones Turísticas is a journal of continuous publication. The call for papers is open throughout the year. Each issue includes a minimum of five articles. A compilation volume of the articles and other edited products will be published in December.

 

Authors rights

The authors retain their authorship rights, although they transfer the exploitation rights (reproduction, distribution, public communication and transformation) to the magazine on a non-exclusive basis and guarantee the right of first publication of their work, which will be simultaneously subject to the indicated license (CC-BY-NC-SA).

Dimensiones Turísticas authorizes the reproduction of its material through magnetic, electronic and reprographic means as long as the contents are not altered, it is non-profit and the full source is cited.

Digital Preservation Policy

Dimensiones Turísticas maintains the backup of its content on its Ionos and Hostingator servers, who provide hosting and support to the magazine's content manager. Thanks to this support, the journal is guaranteed a permanent and secure archive.

Dimensiones Turísticas also carries out backup and preservation processes for the documents of each article and number that is published, both on desktop computers, external memories and in the digital cloud.
